Antique Finish
Our Antique finish is a premium finish that we offer on our cast iron radiators. This finish is a great option for our Ornate Cast Iron Radiators. This finish is achieved by picking one of the many colour options that are available radiators, this colour option is then washed with a contrasting, antiquing wash. This results in the details of the radiator being given an authentic aged look by picking out the ornate details of the cast iron. This makes your radiator stand out as a real statement piece within your home. One of the best examples of this finish is Pewter as the contrast between the base coat and the darker wash results in a radiator with real character.
The Carron Antique Finish
Our Carron Antique finish is a unique finish that we are pleased to offer on our Carron cast iron radiators. The way this style is produced is that firstly, you select one out of any of the vast numbers of colours Carron offers as a base coat. This colour is then applied and allowed to cure, then a secondary colour either dark or light depending on the base coat is applied, which is then washed off. This leaves a highly detailed finish along the ornate raised cast iron without compromising the colour of the base colour you have chosen. One of the best examples of this finish is the Antiqued French Grey which gives a very distinguished old-school look.
The Antique finish is visually similar to our Vintage and our Highlight cast iron radiator finishes.
